Going Green with George’s

In an effort to help do our part for the planet earth we at George’s Flowers
are continually striving to go more “green”.
The following are just a few of the things we are doing…
 
• We continually try to work with suppliers to our business that they themselves are trying to be more environmentally conscientious in the handling & care of their floral & foliage products.

• We recycle a large portion of our day to day paper supplies.

• We use recycled paper products everywhere we can. Our order forms and enclosure cards, are printed on recycled paper.

• When weather permits we greatly limit wrapping of deliveries - thus minimizing excess packaging materials all together.

• We have modified much of our floral gift packaging and gift wrapping to more environmentally friendly types of packaging.
 

As always, we are very thankful to our customers for supporting us.
While we believe it is very important to think globally and act respectfully of our plant earth, we feel it is also very important to act on a local level.
